That video is really neat, seriously, well done!

Jupiter Ace: a ZX80 with a Forth ROM. Inspired me to port an 8080 FIG Forth listing to the Camputers Lynx back in 83.

Well somewhere between a ZX80 and a ZX81, it had a better video system than either, but at the cost of dedicated video ram (IIRC)

Beware reading the specs. It uses an ancient ARM9 CPU core instead of an ARM v9 compatible one.

That's cool, but why not use the native colorForth keyboard layout?

Now THIS is a cyberdeck. Its janky, cobbled-together nature and Forth "OS" give it that postapocalyptic feel.

It's great, this is the kind of content I look for in HackerNews, I'm so fucking tired of LLMs and AI posts

I would appreciate some extra markings on the keycaps for chords and numbers, and a sans-serif font, but this looks awesome as it is.

I would love a full sized keyboard made with those keys.

That aside, I will probably buy one of these. It is the ultimate nerd fiddle toy. Brilliantly done.
